As the exclusive distributor of Junckers Hardwood Floors for Ontario, Total Sport Solutions is thrilled to share some electrifying news about our partner’s involvement in the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Junckers, the official Global Supplier of wooden floors for the FIBA (International Basketball Federation), will provide the basketball courts for the Olympic tournament. This continues Junckers' long-standing partnership with FIBA, which has seen Junckers floors used in major international competitions since 2021.

Thomas Bendixen, CEO of Junckers, shared his excitement: "At Junckers, we are incredibly proud to be the Global Supplier of wooden floors. The success of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 has been exhilarating for us, and our partnership with FIBA continues to flourish as we provide international players with top-notch basketball courts. The success of the World Cup is a testament to the quality of our floors, and now we eagerly anticipate the Olympic Basketball Tournament in 2024."

According to a recent article by Hardwood Floors Magazine, Junckers supplied two tournament floors and four warm-up courts for the Olympics, totaling over 34,500 square feet of high-quality hardwood flooring. The floors use Junckers' Pro Complete 44 Portable Sports Floor system, featuring 7/8" solid hardwood strips pre-assembled into lightweight panels. The wood species chosen is press-dried beech, known for its superior stability and wear resistance.

As the authorized distributor for Junckers, Total Sport Solutions is excited to bring this Olympic-level quality to facilities in the Province. Whether you're building a new gym or upgrading an existing court, we can provide the same FIBA-approved flooring used by the world's top athletes.
